Can I play without downloading anything?
Yes. Browser play offers solo word guessing, Affinity, mini crosswords, and cryptograms. It’s unranked practice: no account, purchases, or multiplayer. Your browser session is separate from the app; closing or reloading the page ends that session.
Is the game free?
The app is free to download and play. It includes ads and optional purchases, such as hint packs and ad-free access. Browser practice does not require payment.
How do shared puzzles work?
Puzzle-specific links let you play the same puzzle as your friend in a separate, unranked challenge. Choose Play in browser, or open it in an app version that supports puzzle-specific challenges. If you install the app first, return to the original link afterward. Older result links without a puzzle ID open the general game page.
Can I play offline?
The downloaded app supports offline solo play. Multiplayer, ads, account services, and online rankings need an internet connection. Load the browser game while online; offline browser installation is not currently offered.
Where can I get help or report a puzzle?
Visit Support for help. App versions with puzzle reporting include a Report button on solo boards, so you can flag a clue or answer without leaving the puzzle.
